The Lost Chord Society

Fund for New Music

Michael Halstenson, Music Director

We announce the Lake Wobegon® Brass Band Lost Chord Society:  an ongoing search for the “Lost Chord” as described in Adelaide Ann Procter’s poem and set to music by Sir Arthur Sullivan.

The society establishes a fund to commission new works for brass band and to search for music that might allow us to now “hear that great Amen.”

The current project of the Lost Chord Society is a new work being written by
Dean, a well respected jazz composer, has expanded his work
to include classical works as well.
Join us Sunday March 6 at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church in Plymouth Minnesota
for the premier performance of Dean’s new work.

Donors receive news of current and future commissioned works and concerts. Members and supporters will also receive tickets to premier performances and special events featuring music funded by the society.
