Chair Sponsorship Program

You can help support the Lake Wobegon® Brass Band by becoming a Chair Sponsor for an entire season.

`When you become a Chair Sponsor, you are helping the band in such areas as:

  • Purchasing music
  • Purchasing percussion and selected brass instruments
  • Costs of maintaining a professional conductor
  • Transportation

Your name will be listed in each LWBB concert program for a concert season under the name of the chair you choose to sponsor.  Since we are a non-profit organization, your contribution is tax deductible.

Print this form, fill it out, and mail it along with your TAX DEDUCTIBLE contribution to the address shown on the form.  Please make checks payable to The Lake Wobegon® Brass Band.

Chair Sponsorship FAQ:

Q: Is my donation tax deductible?

A: Yes, the Lake Wobegon Brass Band is sponsored by the Anoka Brass Band Association which qualifies as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

 

Q: How long will my name be listed as a sponsor?

A: Sponsorships are for the entire concert season which begins with the October concert series and ends with the March concert series each season.

 

Q: We have a group of people combining for one sponsorship, how will our names be listed?

A: We do have space limitations and will only be able to list one name of a sponsorship group. Please indicate how you would like your group listed.

 

Q: What if someone else has already sponsored the chair that I have requested?

A: Multiple sponsorships are perfectly acceptable and will be listed in the program in order of receipt of the sponsorship form.

 

Q: Is there a deadline to meet to have my name included in the program?

A: Yes.   All chair sponsorship donations received on or before September 15 will be included in the programs for the upcoming season.   All donations received after September 15 will be included in the following season.   (Example- donation received on or before September 15, 2009, name included in 09-10 season programs.)

 

Q: Can I make my donation online or with a credit card?

A: No.   At this time, we are only set up to receive donations via cash or check.
